The Village Co.
World’s Biggest Meat Raffle.

ANZAC Day 2020 was coming up. The country was in lockdown, and like most people, I was at home unsure what was happening to the world. It was during this time that I wrote the script for The Village Co.’s World’s Biggest Meat Raffle, a national campaign aiming to break a Guinness World Record by raffling 10,000 meat trays across the country, while raising funds for veteran mental health charity Swiss 8.

With the legendary Sam Kekovich front and centre, we called on Aussies to jump online, grab a raffle ticket and support veterans when ANZAC Day gatherings weren’t an option.

The film spread fast, shared by politicians, butchers and community groups. It was a very Australian way to bring people together, even while we had to stay two arm lengths apart.
