Bingle set out to shake up traditional car insurance, offering online, low cost cover for smart drivers who knew exactly what they needed. But early on, the brand had an identity problem. People weren’t quite sure what Bingle offered, or what it didn’t. With low market share, we had to be different to get noticed. It needed a bold, memorable way to stand out. That’s when the little green car was born.

Across four campaigns, the simple, iconic green car helped Bingle cut through, proving to savvy savers that cheap car insurance didn’t have to feel like a compromise.

The brand platform evolved from the cheeky ‘It’s no accident we’re cheaper’ to the more confident ‘100% happy with Bingle’. Early campaigns leaned into animated, paper cutout inspired worlds, while later work brought handcrafted paper models to life on real sets, building a visual identity as smart, reliable, and satisfyingly different.
